ABOUT US
I was born in Milan, Italy, in 1986, into a family where animals were simply part of everyday life. Dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, turtles, guinea pigs—you name it, we probably had one.
Some of my earliest memories are of my mother pulling her hand out of a guinea pig’s cage with a determined little guinea pig still hanging on by its teeth; of seven Border Collie puppies being raised in our apartment in the heart of Brera, Milan; and of our cat, Mrs. Tea Kettle, who somehow learned to open the door for my dog.
Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. For my eighteenth birthday, I asked for a Border Collie, named Leon, instead of the usual gifts. At one point, our home was shared by three dogs and a cat—one pet for each sister, plus the family dog. They all lived together happily and became an inseparable part of our lives.
When I moved first to England and later to Australia I decided to turn my lifelong passion into a profession. I spent several years working as a dog walker and pet sitter, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while deepening my understanding of canine behaviour, welfare, and nutrition.
