Boarding
Premium Dog Boarding at Pawarchy
At Pawarchy, we offer a home-style boarding experience focused on comfort, routine, safety, and genuine companionship. With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and other pets, we know that every animal is different and deserves patience, understanding, and individual care. Dogs staying with us become part of our daily life. They spend the day with us at home and at the shop, are very rarely left alone, and always have someone nearby keeping an eye on them. We have also completed a Pet First Aid Course, so you can feel confident your dog is in capable hands in case of emergencies.
What We Provide
During their stay, we make sure every dog has:
- Plenty of exercise and toilet breaks
- Fresh clean water always available
- High-quality treats
- Daily brushing if needed
- Drying and basic grooming care if they get wet
- Company, supervision, and a calm environment
Our goal is simple: we want your dog to feel safe, relaxed, cared for, and genuinely happy while staying with us.
A Typical Day
Our day usually starts around 6:30 AM with a quick walk around the block followed by breakfast.
Between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, dogs enjoy a longer off-leash walk at the park before heading with us to Pawarchy for the day.
At the shop, dogs can relax comfortably in their boxes while still being able to observe everything happening around them. They receive treats, fresh water, regular attention, and are never simply “left somewhere and ignored.”
Approximately every three hours, dogs are taken out again for short walks and toilet breaks so they can stretch their legs and stay comfortable throughout the day.
Around 5:30 PM, everyone heads back home for dinner (food must be provided by the owner).
Raw Feeding Transition (BARF)
We also offer support for dogs transitioning to a raw diet (BARF) during boarding stays.
A lot of owners feel nervous about making the switch to raw feeding, so many clients choose to have us help during boarding, where we can supervise the process closely and help make the transition smoother and less stressful.
Medication Administration
If your dog requires medication, we are happy to administer it throughout the day according to your instructions.
Assessment Stays for Longer Boardings
For stays longer than four days, we require a paid three-day assessment stay beforehand.
During these three days, your dog stays with us exactly as they would during a normal boarding visit. This allows us to make sure they are genuinely comfortable and suited to the environment and lifestyle we provide.
Because our boarding style is very integrated into our everyday life, dogs staying with us need to be able to comfortably handle:
- Being around children
- Spending time in a busy pet shop environment
- Seeing customers and dogs coming and going throughout the day
- Travelling in the car
- Relaxing calmly in boxes/crates when needed
- Living safely alongside our own dog
This assessment is not about judging dogs harshly — it is about making sure the experience is safe, low-stress, and enjoyable for everyone involved, especially the dog.
We ask owners to carefully consider whether this environment truly suits their dog before booking. Dogs who experience severe stress in cars, panic in crates, struggle heavily in busy environments, or are unsafe around children or other dogs may simply not be suited to this style of boarding — and that’s completely okay. Some dogs are happier and more comfortable in a quieter kennel-style environment instead.
The three-day assessment is charged at full price. If your dog passes the assessment, the cost will be deducted from your first long boarding stay.
If the stay is not suitable, the assessment fee is non-refundable, as the full care, supervision, and time have still been provided.
During the assessment period, owners must remain available to collect their dog if needed should the arrangement prove too stressful or unsuitable.
Our priority is always the wellbeing of the dog and maintaining a calm, safe environment for every animal in our care.
Emergency Care
In case of emergencies, owners are required to sign a consent form allowing us to act quickly according to the dog’s best interests and the owner’s wishes.
